In late 2021 we adopted a pay-to-play model for our reports. We introduced this to allow us to give the report away for free to potential product buyers; the costs we pass on to vendors cover our admin costs and to allow ‘full reviews’ to have an unlimited license.
Review types
We include two different types of reviews in our reports:
Product overviews

- An optional 30-minute product demonstration
- 3 pages of review content (on average), including:
- Non-functional requirement data collected via a questionnaire
- Summary information, such as targeted markets and branding options
- A ‘ClearBox view’ section, containing a handful of paragraphs highlighting features and areas of consideration
- Maximum of 30 slots are available
