Intranet gems
If you work in the intranet world I’m sure you know the feeling when your friends and family beg you to share absorbing anecdotes about what you do and the funny things that happen with your CMS.
No?
Me neither. That’s why intranet folk need each other!
The Intranet Now conference this October is the annual chance to get together with people who understand your funny stories and might even laugh.
Who’s an intranet diamond?
Nestled within this event is another gem (ahem), and that’s their intranet Diamond Award to recognise someone who has made a ‘remarkable contribution to the intranet community’. I’m incredibly biased as I was privileged to win it a couple of years ago. More importantly though, it means I’m now on the advisory panel and we are looking for nominations for the 4th winner.
Who do you know that makes a difference to our intranet world? Who blogs, shares, advises or motivates their peers? Who should we give a slap on the back to (and a large piece of weaponized glassware) for not just doing their job, but who also gives back to others in a similar role? We’d love to learn of a practitioner that you know of (us consultants have ulterior motives you know 😉 ).
Nominations are open on the Intranet Now site or you can email Brian@intranetnow.co.uk directly.
Save your seat
There aren’t many intranet conferences that I put in my calendar as soon as I hear the date, but Intranet Now is an exception. Wedge Black and Brian Lamb do a superb job of bringing intranet practitioners together (primarily in the UK, but increasingly with an international presence). If you work in digital comms, collaboration or anything intranet related, I encourage you to attend. ClearBox newsletter subscribers get 10% off the standard ticket price.
