The 2023 edition of our Intranets and Employee Experience Platforms Report is now available, entirely free to download. We’ve completely revised the content from the 2022 edition, so if you’ve downloaded that one you’ll want to download this one.

How the report will help you
We’ve been reviewing intranet products since 2016 and launched the first edition of our Intranets and Employee Experience Platforms Report in 2022. In each report we’ve taken market leaders through their paces and helped readers make the right choices for their businesses.
We’ve taken that experience, and the experience of working with scores of clients on their digital workplace projects, to create this new report that assesses some of the best intranet and associated products on the market.
Each vendor demonstrated to us how their product fulfils certain business scenarios. This is more than a list of features and functions; our scenarios are real-life business situations that products should meet head-on (such as internal communication needs, information finding, and general user experience).
We identified these scenarios after months of research into the products on the market, user needs, and business requirements. The scenarios are outlined in the introduction and our reviewers used the framework to form each review.
We believe our report will give you the foundation information you need before you consider the right approach for your organisation. This will save you weeks of research, as well as provide details you simply can’t get from vendors’ websites, giving you the confidence to make the right decisions.
What’s changed from V1 in 2022
Thousands of you downloaded the 2022 edition (thank you for your support!) and you will find that the 2023 edition is entirely different. The scenarios have remained the same, but while the format will be familiar we have completely re-written all reviews. We’ve also introduced a few new products this time too, both as full reviews with scores and as ‘product overview’ reviews. We’ve also:
- Changed some of the details in the ‘technical tables’
- Added a ‘why choose this product’ summary for all full reviews
- Removed the ‘vendor roadmap’ summary
- Added more images to the product overview reviews.
So, if you downloaded the 2022 edition I’d strongly encourage you to download this new edition so that you can read the most up-to-date information possible about the market.
